It would be a cultural and art loss from your tour experience if you rush through this beautiful city of Greensboro, NC, and cannot take it all in.

We believe in “slow travel” and taking the time to ENJOY THE NOW!

A: Your tour will take you through the exciting times this city has seen and what is still to come.

We will stroll along Elm Street, and we will share lots of great stories and history.

A: The most important thing on this tour is to get to know the people you will spend the day with and make new friends.

This 30-minute “get to know each other” beginning is one of the favorites of our groups. The location is gorgeous, and the day will start right.

A: The meeting point of our tours (weather permitting) will always be at LeBauer Park, under the aerial sculpture “Where We Met” by Janet Echelman.

You can’t miss us – once you see the big letters of LeBauer Park – you will see our group preparing for the picnic.

A: Yes, you can. Just let us know the meeting point you want to join the group at, and Marion will look for you and welcome you into our group.

However, why would you miss some of the best parts? Like the welcome picnic, the time to bond with your new tour buddies, and all the information and funny chats?

A: Our unique walking tour through Greensboro specializes in smaller group sizes, allowing us to customize the tour and make it an intimate and personalized event.

Also, walking with a smaller group through the streets is much easier.

And people can more easily understand what is said and ask their questions.

A: We offer our tours in English and German language.

A: When a group of at least 6 (six) people shows interest in another date, we will do our best to find a mutually agreeable day for your desired tour.

A: These tours by “Travel like a Local with Marion” are designed to have everything covered – except the “wrap-up part” at the end of the tour.

Please walk through the day without worries, knowing everything is taken care of.

Your only job is to enjoy your new friends’ company and the information you will be receiving.

You can see all the specific details for each tour on their page.

A: Please remember that each tour is a walking tour, and people should be able to walk leisurely.

However, we will have breaks, and because our number of participants is small, we can accommodate you when necessary.

A: Please let us know by the time of signing up (but at least 3 (three) days in advance).

Once we understand your dietary needs, we can do our best to provide you with an “alternative” picnic and lunch as a delicious part of your experience.
